This estate was created in 1977 when Bernard and Colette Fournier purchased this 11th century Chateau and its 44 hectares of vineyards located in the town of St. Jean de Blaignac, 6 km south of St Emillion, however, the family has been working the land in Bonhoste since 1895.
Tangy lemon zest comes through strongly in this wine. Its acidity is reinforced by a mineral texture that adds complexity. This fifth-generation Fournier family wine has a full-bodied feel and is still young.
