The grapes for this Pinot Noir grew at the Parndorfer Platte. An elevated plateau characterized by cool winds from the west and north-west.
Intense ruby-garnet colour. Exudes notes of cherries and violets with hints of black tea, tobacco, precious wood and chalk. A cool, salty finish. Very special!
Hand picked in September, pre selection in the vineyard, second selection in the winery, old school winemaking and natural fermentation in stainless steel and in open vats for three – four weeks, matured for 14 months in Barriques.
