Noticeable wood frames the ripe but cool essence of black cherry, earth and once again plenty of sauvage character. There is fine intensity to the rich and slightly finer medium weight flavors that possess fine complexity on the seamlessly balanced and persistent finish. Note that the mid-palate is sufficiently supple that this could be enjoyed on the younger side if you run out of patience! Drinks from 2024+. Published by Burghound in Jan 2017.
