35 to 50 year old vines from a mix of chalky and clay soils are the source of this wine. It is aged for 12 months in oak before release. On the nose, cooked black fruits are dominant. The palate offers a strong concentration of ripe raspberry with a long, lingering ﬁnish that is smooth and well-rounded. Pairs wonderfully with strong cheeses, red meats or pasta dishes in red sauce.
