Kohki Iwata decided to leave Osaka and take up the life of a vigneron in France in 2008. He's now, along with Rié et Hirofumi Shoji of PEDRES BLANQUES, Kenjiro Kagami of DOMAINE DES MIRROIRS, one of the most outstanding Japanese winemakers in France that draws the wine world's attention.
He completed his apprenticeship with iconic figures in natural wine such as Olivier Cousin in Loire Valley and Jean Foillard in Beaujolais.
A blend of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Cinsault. The resulting wine is delicate with plenty of aromas with dark cherries and spices, very intensely scented on its nose.
