"Domaine Lamy-Caillat is the most exciting producer of white Burgundy that you’ve never heard of. Located in a cold cellar off the Place de Puits in ChassagneMontrachet, just uphill from Domaine Ramonet, the Lamy-Caillat holdings currently amount to a mere 1.2 hectares of vines, producing only a handful of barrels every year. The domaine harvested its first crop as recently as 2011.
2017 appears to be the best vintage to date for Domain Lamy-Caillat, and I was immensely impressed by the wines' alliane of depth, concentration and incisiveness."
